Winter Hiatus

Both the Calgary and Airdrie realms are going on winter Hiatus in December. Calgary will resume in the spring but Airdrie may resume as early as January depending on the weather and how busy Cib is.

Tournaments of Strathclyde - Sept 24th

Tournaments of Strathclyde is a fall Strathclyde event based around 2 man unit games and tournaments. The event is run using the Belegarth rule system, will include large scale battles, tournaments and eating of food.

Calgary Practices switched to Sundays

The practice time of The Calgary realm has been changed to Sundays at 2pm in Murdock park.

We will hold our last Tuesday practice August 2nd and our first of the new weekly Sunday practices on the 7th at 2pm.

The Calgary Realm is considering a practice time switch to Sunday afternoons.

This will allow us to continue through the winter when the sun sets before our current 6:15pm practice time. I hope it will also allow more people to show up as I've heard some comments that Tuesdays don't work for some people.

Chaos Wars is coming up.
Strathclyde will be sending 2 vehicles down to Chaos Wars in Hailey, Idaho. This is a week long event the last week of July. If you want to go contact Moginheden, (full week) or Cib, (2nd half of week).

You will need to pay $40 to register for the event and supply your own camping supplies, (tent, food, etc.) You will also need a passport as this event is in the states.

Calgary Practices Resume

After our winter break I am pleased to announce Calgary practices will resume on April 19th. We will hold practices at 6:15pm every Tuesday throughout the summer in the park just north of the Bridgeland LRT station.
